Some examples of what I have created to integrate technology into my practice.

Standalone Instructional Resource (StaIR) (link requires PowerPoint viewer)
This is a lesson I created to explain a way to solve many equations using a common sense method that is built around understanding as opposed to rote memorization of a process. The project utilizes Microsoft PowerPoint in poster mode to have users engage in this approach to solving. The StaIR provides opportunities to try out what was learned and also provides feedback to the user about their work as they proceed.

RTI Web Interface: Modules and Activities to Supplement Classroom Learning
For the 2011-2012 school year part of my job included being a Response to Intervention (RTI) coach along with another teacher, Sandy Callis. We created a website designed to target specific mathematics skill deficits that were reported by our colleagues. The site contains several StaIR based activities along with quizzes made with Google Forms so that we could track students' progress with an individual skill and report back to both the student and the referring teacher.

A major part of CEP 820 is building an online course delivery site utilizing one of the many course management systems. My course is made using Wikispaces and is meant to be a complement to a traditional face to face site. The course contains an embedded calendar which students can link to their own personal calendars. During the initial development of the site considerable time was spent choosing a platform that best suited my needs. Once this was completed I worked to populate the site with content while keeping a focus on the UDL Guidelines and utilizing the TPACK framework.

Student Audio Interview: Understanding Student Understanding
During CEP 800 we were given the task of determining a student's understanding of an important concept. We were also asked to record and produce a compelling version of that interview that would demonstrate that students true understanding. Using Audacity I sifted through over 40 minutes of conversation with a student, cutting editing and adding voice-overs where necessary to produce a high quality interview where I uncover a student's misconceptions about one of the most important aspects of our school's curriculum.

Throughout the program we were often required to maintain a blog detailing our work. This is also where I learned hyperlinks and how to embed web content. My blog has been one of the things that I have looked back at most often as I have worked to complete CEP807.

Cloud Computing
Probably the most used of all the tools I have been introduced to is cloud computing, in particular, Google Docs. I have used Google Docs in every class for a range or reasons. It is now my go to for many tasks. Yet another example of coloud computing is this site, built with WIX, a cloud based WYSIWYG html editor.
